Assessment instructions
Students are required to prepare a business model canvas report (2000 words) that deconstructs an organisation's business model and identifies the critical success factors that make the business sustainable. To undertake this analysis, students will need to explore a business model that is frequently seen to achieve sustainable success and high levels of profitability. Before commencing, students must seek the lecturer's approval to undertake the analysis of the chosen business.
The type of organisation that should be chosen for this. To achieve a result that meets the assignment objectives, the business model canvas report should analyse each of the following components:
- Value proposition
- Key activities
- Key resources
- Key partners
- Cost structure
- Customer segments
- Customer Relationships
- Channels
- Revenue streams
The submission must include an Executive Summary not exceeding 300 words.
As part of this assessment, students will deliver a 5-minute, single slide classNamepresentation. Students should research, analyse, innovate, decide, and summarise their findings from the report professionally and academically into a business model canvas.

Students should research details of an innovation and also refer to relevant literature in the subject outline.
