Undo the command and try the auto contrast command instead

Choose Enhance➪Auto Smart Fix. The lighting, shadow and highlight detail, and color balance should all be improved, as shown in Figure 6-1.

Open a file in either Quick Fix or Standard Edit mode.

Choose Enhance➪Auto Levels. The overall contrast of your image should be improved, with highlights appearing lighter and shadows appearing darker, as shown in Figure 6-2.
