According to WEAHSN (2010) executive and non-executive healthcare managers and executives play a crucial headship character in patient security and in endorsing familiarity of different human factors from the meeting room to the bedside. Thus, in order to enhance patient health and safety, a positive safety culture must be developed. The staff must be comfortable in discussing about patient safety events and must be treated fairly. Moreover, the organisation must also be committed for learning safety lessons and learning from the previous incidents of adverse events. Hence, lack of necessary leadership skills is an additional human factor that deteriorates the healthcare performance.
