Peak Output Voltage

3.702 V

3.586 V

Maximum Ripple

0.733 V

0.322 V

For the circuit depicted in Fig 5, the measurement results were within close range in the Peak Output Voltage, with a difference in 0.2 V, but the Maximum ripple had a larger voltage difference. This is due to the Pre Lab’s simulations utilizing different capacitor values compared to the actual measured results. In the Pre Lab, I simulated the circuit with a capacitor value of 6.66 µF, and in the measure results I used a capacitor value of 20 µF. This is due to an error in the calculations when I substituted the wrong value for the  in the part where you calculate the value of the capacitance. Having a higher capacitance value affects the rate at which the  discharges, resulting in a smaller ripple in the measured results.
